Sugbu Building, Kawit at SRP

Being a frequent passer of SRP, we were curious when we heard that there will be some activities going on at Sugbu building. So last night, we dropped by the area and found a lot of people enjoying the festivities. There was a live band providing the music for everyone. There were carnival rides and games for the funloving, food stalls for the famished, and night bazaars for the shoppers.

The area was so huge, with adequate parking space. What I liked is the well-lit parking area, knowing that SRP has earned some bad news lately for a few criminal events taking place one after another. It also helped that SRP Patrol cars are visible, roaming the area every now and then. Even with a lot of people around, the area looked so big and uncrowded at all. The Sugbu Building was well lit and there were people falling in line for the free dinner. Heard there were coupons distributed earlier for the free dinner.


The stage where the band performed was also huge, just perfect for the big grounds. But the band performers looked so tiny. Maybe if it was a concert, a big screen would solve the problem.


Hopefully, this area would be fully developed in terms of events and festivities and security measures to add another place of interest in Cebu City.
